Dr. Tarek Awadallah

Dr. Tarek Awadallah is Chair of the Faculty of Hadith Sciences at the Islamic University of Minnesota and a resident scholar at Dar Al Farooq Islamic Center, Minnesota. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies from Dar Al-Uloom College, Cairo University, and a PhD in Hadith and its Sciences from the Islamic University of Minnesota.

Biography

Dr. Awadallah studied under renowned scholars including Shaykh Muhammad Jamil Ghazi, Shaykh Abu Isḥāq al-Ḥuwaynī, and Dr. Muhammad al-Beltaji, and has been teaching Hadith sciences, Arabic language, and Islamic jurisprudence for over thirty years — including in Cairo’s mosques through detailed explanations of classical texts.

He has served as a lecturer and program host on Al-Majd Scientific Channel and was selected by the channel to teach Hadith at its open scientific academy. His published works include Lughat al-Muḥaddith, Al-Nuqūd al-Bannā’, and Taqrīb ‘Ilm al-Ḥadīth, released through reputable publishers including Dār Ibn Taymiyyah and Dār al-Kawthar.

Dr. Awadallah is deeply committed to the transmission of classical Islamic knowledge and the nurturing of future scholars, having earned the high regard of eminent scholars including Shaykh Abu Isḥāq al-Ḥuwaynī and Shaykh Abd al-Karīm al-Khuḍayr.
